function was organized at Don Bosco Vaduthala on 24 th July’19 , for distribution of certificates to the Welder Trainees passed out from the training program conducted jointly by IIW Cochin Branch & Don Bosco Technical Institute, Vaduthala , as CSR initiative of COCHIN SHIPYARD.

Sri. S Varadarajan, General Manager , New Projetcs, attended as Chief Guest and presided over by Fr. Paulson, Rector & certificates were issued to all trainees. Mr. Jose P Philip, Chairman, Mr. P Govindankutty , Vice Chairman, & Mr. A Prasadkumar , Vice Chairman spoke on the occasion , Fr. Roy Issac , Principal expressed vote of thanks , & Mr Biju Thomas , Co-ordinator , Don Bosco welcomed the gathering. Mr. Yesudas representing trainees also spoke and explained the benefits of the course.

So far about 130 students were trained and got placed in various companies and a few of them went abrod for employment.
